Shares of Mininglamp Technology-W (02718) extended their gains, rising more than 11% during Wednesday's trading session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 11.19% at HK$49.70, with trading turnover reaching HK$219 million.

According to the company's recently released interim results, Mininglamp reported first-half revenue of RMB 760 million, a year-on-year increase of 18.0%. Gross profit rose 8.3% to RMB 390 million, while the net loss narrowed significantly by 68.5% to RMB 64 million. Notably, revenue from agentic services surged 605.7% year-on-year to RMB 171 million, accounting for 22.5% of total revenue and becoming the primary growth driver. New customers represented 68% of the client base, reflecting continued rapid expansion of the company's customer portfolio.

In a notable development, the 2026 World Robot Conference kicked off in Beijing on August 19. Mininglamp Technology, in collaboration with Hikrobot, showcased its commercial achievements in embodied intelligence, marking the company's official entry into this emerging sector. During the conference's main forum, Mininglamp's founder, CEO, and CTO Wu Minghui emphasized that the key to the next phase of robotics lies in the "brain," which he described as having two layers: the individual reasoning and decision-making brain of a single robot, and an organizational-level collaborative brain. Wu explained that the ultimate goal of the company's Octo platform is to create "an organizational human-machine collaborative brain, not just an individual brain for each robot."
