Sanmina Corporation (SANM) shares fell 5.22% in after-hours trading on Monday, following the release of fiscal third-quarter results and forward guidance. The decline came even as the company reported quarterly earnings and revenue that surpassed analyst estimates.

For the third quarter, Sanmina posted adjusted earnings per share of $3.31 on revenue of $3.464 billion, compared to consensus estimates of $2.77 per share and $3.396 billion in revenue. However, the company's outlook for the fourth quarter dampened investor sentiment. Sanmina guided for fourth-quarter revenue between $3.3 billion and $3.6 billion, with the midpoint of $3.45 billion falling short of the $3.52 billion analyst expectation. Full-year fiscal 2026 revenue guidance was set at $14.0 billion to $14.3 billion, roughly in line with the $14.06 billion consensus.

The after-hours sell-off indicates that the market focused on the softer-than-expected near-term revenue forecast, overshadowing the strong bottom-line performance. The guidance suggests potential challenges in sustaining top-line momentum in the upcoming quarter.
