XINTE ENERGY (01799) has announced that Mr. Chen Weiping, an independent non-executive director on the fifth board of directors, intends to resign from his position due to personal health reasons. Mr. Chen will also step down from his roles on the board's strategy committee, nomination committee, remuneration and assessment committee, and audit committee (collectively referred to as board committees). His resignation will take effect upon the election of a new independent non-executive director at the company's 2025 annual general meeting. Until that time, Mr. Chen will continue to fulfill his duties as an independent non-executive director and as a member of the board committees.
