DEEPEXI TECH has called its second extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2026 for 1:30 p.m. on 10 August 2026 in Beijing to seek shareholder approval for the appointment of Mr. Anthony Fung Che Wai as an independent non-executive director (INED).

Mr. Fung, aged 57, brings more than 33 years of experience in audit, financial management, investor relations and consultancy. His career includes auditing at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (1992-1999) and senior finance roles at NagaCorp, Zall Smart Commerce, Kong Sun Holdings and Beijing Enterprises Urban Resources Group. He currently serves as an INED at five Hong Kong-listed companies, including KWG Living Group and Zhong An Group. Mr. Fung holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a fellow of both ACCA and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

If approved, Mr. Fung’s term will run until the end of the first session of the board, with an annual director’s fee of HK$0.30 million. The board confirms that he meets all independence criteria under Listing Rule 3.13.

Key meeting logistics: • Share transfer registration closes from 5 August to 10 August 2026 (both dates inclusive). • Shareholders must lodge transfer documents by 4:30 p.m. on 4 August 2026 to qualify for attendance and voting rights. • Proxy forms must reach Tricor Investor Services by 1:30 p.m. on 9 August 2026.

The board recommends shareholders vote in favour of Mr. Fung’s appointment, citing his extensive expertise and anticipated contribution to corporate governance.
