CSTONE PHARMA-B's stock price soared 5.10% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the company's announcement of encouraging clinical updates for its lead drug candidate CS2009.
The biopharmaceutical company disclosed that updated Phase I/II results for its trispecific antibody CS2009 in non-small cell lung cancer will be presented at the upcoming American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in 2026. The data showed encouraging anti-tumor activity in first-line lung cancer patients, including those with PD-L1 negative and low expression who typically respond poorly to immunotherapy.
Additionally, the later-line lung cancer data demonstrated deep and durable responses in heavily pretreated patients, including those previously treated with immunotherapy. The company's development plan targets global registration, with Phase III multi-regional trials expected to start by year-end following US IND clearance, driving investor optimism about the drug's potential.
