Following the Spring Festival holiday, multiple industrial parks in Gui'an New District have resumed operations, with companies issuing recruitment notices to achieve a strong start to the new year. On February 28, it was reported that Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) will hold a dedicated offline recruitment event in Guiyang on March 7. The event aims to hire a large number of engineers and technicians to support the high-quality development of Guizhou's new energy battery industry.

The recruitment drive is primarily targeted at CATL's Guizhou base, offering a wide range of positions across equipment, process engineering, production, quality control, supply chain, EHS, and facility management. Additionally, job openings in CATL's Sichuan region will also be available at the event. Applicants can learn more about the positions and submit their resumes by scanning QR codes on-site or online.

In terms of compensation, engineers can expect a comprehensive monthly salary ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 yuan, while technicians will receive between 7,000 and 9,000 yuan. Employees will also benefit from global platform resources, social insurance, housing fund contributions, and dormitory accommodations. However, all positions require specific educational backgrounds and work experience.

The recruitment event will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on March 7 (Saturday) at the China Guiyang Human Resources Service Industrial Park (No. 235 Kaili Road, Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province). The hiring process includes resume submission, on-site interview notifications, registration, and interviews. Applicants are required to bring printed copies of their resumes.

In November 2021, CATL established a wholly-owned subsidiary, CATL (Guizhou) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., in Gui'an New District. The first phase of its new energy power and energy storage battery manufacturing base commenced operations on October 27, 2023. Recently, Gui'an New District and CATL signed an investment agreement for the second phase of the manufacturing base. Once completed, the second phase will synergize with the first phase, serving as a core driver for the development of the new energy industry cluster in Southwest China.
