A fresh reminder indicates that domestic refined oil product prices will undergo a new round of adjustments on August 28th, with expectations pointing to a significant surge that could see a full tank costing over 14 yuan more.

Driven by the sustained uptrend in international crude oil, the expectation for an upward adjustment has been climbing steadily and has now entered a substantial increase range. If this trend continues, following this round of price adjustments, 92-octane and 95-octane gasoline are poised to experience their 11th increase this year.

According to institutional forecasts, domestic gasoline and diesel prices are projected to rise by 360 yuan per ton, which translates to an increase of approximately 0.28 to 0.30 yuan per liter. Filling up a 50-liter tank is expected to cost an additional 14 to 15 yuan.

Following the price drop on August 14th, oil prices in 2026 have undergone 16 adjustments in total, comprising one instance of a suspended adjustment, 10 increases, and 5 decreases. However, when calculated cumulatively for the year, gasoline prices have still accumulated a hike of 1,345 yuan per ton, and diesel prices have risen by 1,295 yuan per ton, marking a substantial climb of over 1.03 yuan per liter for both fuel types.
