ACME INTL HLDGS (01870) surged nearly 10% during the trading session. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 3.92%, trading at HKD 0.53, with a turnover of HKD 6.3391 million.

The company announced a substantial breakthrough in its business expansion. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lechang Green Power Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., has seen its planned independent energy storage project formally included in the Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau's independent energy storage construction plan and entered the 2025 construction schedule.

The project recently obtained the official grid connection approval from Guangdong Power Grid, marking its entry into the substantive implementation phase.

The Group's planned "Shaoguan Lechang 218MW/436MWh Electrochemical Independent Energy Storage Project" will utilize lithium iron phosphate battery cells and occupy a total area of 47 acres.

The project completed the filing for the Guangdong Provincial Enterprise Investment Project on January 8, 2025, and was included in Guangdong Province's 2025 New Energy Storage Power Station Construction Plan on April 28, 2025.

The project site is located in Hefeng Village, Pingshi Town, Lechang City, Shaoguan. On August 10, 2025, it completed the process of soliciting site selection opinions from various relevant government departments in Lechang, Shaoguan.

The project has finalized its feasibility study report and grid connection system report. On December 19, 2025, it received the official grid connection approval from Guangdong Power Grid Company.
