Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited announced on Mar, 27 2026 that Freddy Lee will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer on May, 1 2026, following his appointment as CEO-designate on Apr, 1 2026. He will take over from Group Managing Director Ben Birks, who will step down at the close of the company’s Annual General Meeting on Apr, 30 2026.

Freddy Lee joined the group in May, 2025 and is currently Group Finance Director and an Executive Director. He will remain on the board in his new capacity as CEO.

The company also said that Ng Yang Yen, now General Manager of Group Finance, will be promoted to Finance Director and Executive Director effective May, 1 2026. Ng has been with Jardine Cycle & Carriage since 2006 and is responsible for the accounting, finance, treasury and tax functions.

Chairman Samuel Tsien expressed appreciation to Ben Birks for his contributions and welcomed the incoming executives to their new positions.
