At the company's annual general meeting on June 9, Byd Company Limited (002594.SZ) Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu stated that approximately one thousand people participated, setting a new record for attendance.

Wang Chuanfu noted that the second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology have addressed a major pain point in vehicle electrification, receiving high praise both domestically and internationally. However, he candidly stated that current production capacity is still insufficient. Capacity is currently ramping up at a rate of 20,000 to 30,000 units per month, with the company working around the clock to meet the challenge.

He revealed that the company's sales volume this year will depend on its battery output. The company will focus resources on its battery division to fully unlock the production potential of the Blade Battery.

"As our battery production capacity increases, we believe there will be very good output this year. An even larger output will come next year. Once our capacity ramp-up is successfully completed next year, we believe both domestic and international markets will drive growth simultaneously," Wang Chuanfu stated.
