MEITUAN-W travel data reveals that as of September 19, Gansu Province's tourism orders increased 78% year-over-year, with five-star hotel bookings surging over 150% year-over-year, securing the province's position among the top ten destinations for National Day tourism growth.

The top ten destinations for National Day tourism growth are: Hainan, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan, Guangdong, Tibet, Anhui, Gansu, Sichuan, and Qinghai, with Gansu ranking eighth.

According to big data analysis, tourists from Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Zhengzhou are particularly interested in visiting Gansu during National Day. Cultural tourism integration projects such as cultural relic tours, archaeological tours, and museum visits are highly popular. The top ten most searched attractions in Gansu for National Day include Dunhuang Mogao Caves, Jiayuguan Pass, Dunhuang Museum, Yangguan Scenic Area, and Tiantishan Grottoes.

This year's National Day holiday tourism market shows significant heat, with the travel peak expected to last from September 27 to October 12. As of September 22, national National Day cultural tourism booking orders increased 73% year-over-year, with post-2000s young travelers becoming the main consumer group, accounting for 62% of bookings. High-end hotel orders surged 115% year-over-year.

The extended National Day holiday this year has further stimulated diverse tourism modes, with long-distance travel, short weekend trips, and local immersive tourism coexisting. According to MEITUAN-W's predictions for post-2000s new travel trends, cultural relic tourism, border gate tourism, stargazing tours, high-altitude experiences, minority ethnic makeup experiences, intangible cultural heritage handicraft learning, hotel stays near morning markets, industrial heritage exploration, historical costume photography at ancient buildings, and following concerts and music festivals will become new holiday tourism trends.
