CONCORD NE (00182) announced that the 1000-megawatt (1 gigawatt) capacity data center developed by the group has completed its large load interconnection study and has been granted a grid connection permit by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). The data center will be adjacent to one of the group's existing utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in Texas. This permit is a key milestone in the group's strategy to develop sustainably powered digital infrastructure, highlighting its deep expertise in renewable energy development combined with the rapidly growing global demand for AI computing infrastructure. Power supply has become a core bottleneck constraining the development of global AI infrastructure. The group's success in securing large-scale interconnection capacity in the ERCOT market, known for its high technical complexity, intense competition, and strict approval processes, demonstrates its proven execution capabilities in power project development, grid interconnection, and large-scale site delivery. Furthermore, this permit confirms the group's established position in providing integrated infrastructure solutions for hyperscale operators and AI companies seeking gigawatt-scale renewable energy power supply. The group expects this milestone to be the first significant step in its ongoing expansion of its digital infrastructure footprint, continuously transforming its renewable energy platform into sustainable long-term value for shareholders and business partners.
