DETAI NEWENERGY (00559) plummeted more than 30%, with shares down 32.35% to HKD 0.115 at the time of writing, recording a turnover of HKD 577,400. The sharp decline follows an announcement on November 7, in which the company disclosed receiving a notice from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). The exchange stated that DETAI NEWENERGY failed to meet the requirements under Listing Rule 13.24, which mandates sufficient operational scale and asset value to sustain its listing status. As of now, DETAI NEWENERGY has yet to confirm whether it will seek a review of the ruling.
