WeChat Support Responds to "Qianwen Passcode Sharing Block": Service Not Operated by Tencent

On the afternoon of February 6th, Alibaba officially launched its "Spring Festival 3 Billion Free Orders" campaign. According to the official Weibo account of Qianwen, the app received over 5 million orders within five hours of the event going live, propelling Qianwen to the top of the free app rankings on the Apple App Store.

However, within just half a day, users discovered that the latest sharing passcode for Alibaba's Qianwen red envelopes could no longer be copied within WeChat. This effectively prevents users from participating in Qianwen's "Spring Festival 3 Billion Free Orders" promotion by copying and sharing the passcode via WeChat.

When approached for comment on the matter, WeChat's official team had not responded by the time of publication.

Further inquiry with WeChat's customer service yielded a response stating that the product in question is not a Tencent service. Customers were advised to attempt to obtain customer support contact information through the product's official website.
