Construction at the Sam's Club Hongqiao site, located east of Tianjin West Railway Station, has been progressing rapidly. Workers are currently accelerating the installation of utilities, embedded parts, and roof waterproofing. Prior to the Spring Festival, the project's main structure, rough basement finishing, and mechanical/electrical pipeline installation were completed. Work is now focused on mechanical and electrical system installation and the interior fitting-out of the above-ground retail space. It is understood that subsequent phases will include curtain wall construction and external supporting infrastructure, with the store expected to open within this year. As a premier commercial project spearheading the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei same-city business district initiative, the Sam's Club Hongqiao location will center on "smart retail and experiential convergence," aiming to establish a new business model integrating high-end warehousing, customized services, and immersive scenario-based experiences.
