Legend Holdings' stock surged 6.15% during intraday trading on Wednesday, driven by positive analyst sentiment towards its subsidiary Lenovo Group.
Multiple international investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, Macquarie, CLSA, and UOB Kay Hian, significantly raised their target prices for Lenovo Group following the company's strong earnings report. Lenovo reported full-year revenue growth of approximately 20.3% year-over-year and a surge in operating profit of about 50.7%, with first-quarter operating profit jumping roughly 167.8%.
The upgrades reflect confidence in Lenovo's financial performance and have generated increased investor interest in its parent company, Legend Holdings, leading to the sharp price appreciation.
