On December 5, NIO's legal department announced via Weibo that multiple online accounts have been ordered to compensate and apologize for maliciously defaming the company.

Su Chuyuan, holder of the account "Electric Vehicle Gossip," among others, has been maliciously attacking NIO's operations and financial condition since 2023 under the guise of professional financial report analysis across multiple platforms, aiming to drive unauthorized traffic and illicit profits. A first-instance court ruling found his actions infringed upon NIO's legitimate rights and ordered him to compensate NIO and issue a public apology.

Xie Xiansheng, holder of accounts such as "Chinese Technology," fabricated and repeatedly spread false information about NIO in capital markets to attract attention and drive unauthorized traffic. A recent first-instance court ruling confirmed his actions violated NIO's rights and ordered compensation and a public apology.

NIO will continue to support the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's campaign to rectify online misconduct in the automotive industry. The company remains committed to using legal measures to combat malicious misinterpretations of corporate finances, deliberate attacks on products and services, and other infringements, safeguarding the legitimate rights of both the company and its users while fostering a healthier online environment.
