Eastroc Beverage (Group) Co., Ltd. disclosed that controlling shareholder and chairman Mr. Lin Muqin has begun purchasing the company’s H shares and has outlined a twelve-month share-increase programme.
On 29 May 2026, Lin executed an initial purchase of 49,800 H shares for HK$6.46 million, lifting his direct stake in Eastroc to 46.65% in A shares plus 0.0069% in H shares. Prior to the trade, he held no H-share position.
The approved plan allows cumulative H-share purchases valued between HK$100 million and HK$200 million, capped at 2.00% of Eastroc’s 720.77 million total issued shares. Transactions may be carried out via Shanghai Stock Exchange trading channels (including Stock Connect) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange from 29 May 2026 to 28 May 2027, with no preset price range. Funding will be sourced entirely from Lin’s proprietary capital, and he has committed not to dispose of any Eastroc shares during the accumulation window and the subsequent statutory lock-up period.
Including parties deemed to be acting in concert—Mr. Lin Mugang and Mr. Chen Haiming—the controlling group together holds 379.07 million shares, equivalent to 52.59% of Eastroc’s issued capital. The initiative will not alter the company’s control structure.
Management notes that execution of the plan remains subject to prevailing market conditions and other uncontrollable factors; the company pledges ongoing disclosure should any material changes occur.
