On March 23, during Ping An Bank Co., Ltd.'s 2025 performance results conference, Deputy President Fang Weihao discussed the bank's technological finance strategy. He stated that in 2026, the bank will increase its focus on supporting and financing sectors such as new energy vehicles, advanced new energy manufacturing, and commercial aerospace companies.

Fang Weihao also revealed that Ping An Bank is closely monitoring advancements in artificial intelligence, including brain-computer interfaces, embodied AI, and quantum computing. He remarked that while these technologies currently remain in early stages of development, they are likely to emerge as significant areas of interest for the banking industry in the future.
