Wharf Real Estate Investment Company Limited (Wharf REIC, stock code: 01997) announced that Independent Non-executive Director Mr. Tak Hay Chau will retire by rotation at the forthcoming annual general meeting scheduled for 12 May 2026 and will not seek re-election. His directorship will therefore end upon conclusion of the meeting.

Mr. Chau has served on the Board since 2021. According to the filing, he has confirmed no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters requiring shareholder attention in relation to his retirement. The Board expressed appreciation for Mr. Chau’s contributions during his tenure.

Following the 2026 AGM, the Board will comprise four Executive Directors—Mr. Stephen T. H. Ng, Mr. Paul Y. C. Tsui, Ms. Y. T. Leng and Mr. Horace W. C.
