Jiangsu Province has announced its fifth batch of intelligent construction pilot projects for 2026, with 117 projects selected, including the Biological Breeding Zhongshan Laboratory Base (Nanjing Zhongshan International Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Center).
The pilot projects were determined through a process of voluntary enterprise application, preliminary review and recommendation by local authorities, expert evaluation, and public announcement of the list.
Among the 117 projects, Suzhou has the highest number with 55.
These projects will carry out exploration in areas such as BIM technology application, construction robots, and intelligent equipment, in order to improve the application capability and level of digital and intelligent technologies in engineering construction.
It is understood that starting from the fourth quarter of 2026, during the pilot period, provincial-level intelligent construction pilot projects will promptly connect with and manage the digital platforms, BIM models, construction robots, and intelligent equipment used in intelligent construction through the "Jiangsu Intelligent Construction Management Service Platform (Testing)" (referred to as the "Jiangsu Intelligent Construction Platform"), and will record and upload pilot highlights and outstanding results on a quarterly basis.
The Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will use the Jiangsu Intelligent Construction Platform to strengthen dynamic tracking of the implementation of pilot projects. For pilot projects with poor implementation, their pilot qualification will be revoked; for pilot projects with better implementation results, publicity and promotion will be strengthened.
Up to now, Jiangsu Province has announced 5 batches totaling 438 intelligent construction pilot projects.
