A penalty of 97,000 yuan has been imposed on a rural commercial bank in Hunan Province for breaching rules tied to the collection, provision, and inquiry of credit information.
The administrative penalty was disclosed on September 18 through the penalty decision publicity table of the Changde City branch of the People's Bank of China. Hunan Jinshi Rural Commercial Bank was found to have violated regulations governing the gathering, supplying, and accessing of credit data.
As a result, the bank received a fine totaling 97,000 yuan, as ordered by the Changde City branch of the central bank.
