A woman in Zhengzhou, Henan, is offering a 100,000 yuan ($14,000) reward for information leading to the recovery of 600 grams of gold she lost in a parking garage, and has stated she will not pursue legal action against the finder.

Ms. Zhao said the gold was lost when her business partner, Ms. Yang, went to restock inventory on the evening of September 17. After receiving the gold jewelry from a company courier at the underground parking level, Ms. Yang accidentally dropped the items and drove off without noticing.

The gold, valued at over 600,000 yuan ($84,000), was placed in a dark brown bag. It was lost in front of Elevator No. 3 and No. 4 on the B3 floor of the parking garage at Zhengzhou Xingda International Trade. Ms. Zhao noted that Ms. Yang was driving a blue Audi sedan, and the loss occurred between that vehicle and a white car parked nearby.

As of now, no solid leads have emerged, and police are assisting with the search. Ms. Zhao is offering a 100,000 yuan reward for verified information confirming who took the gold, adding that she wishes to reward the individual rather than hold them accountable. "We won't pursue legal liability, and we still want to offer this reward to whoever picked it up," she said.
