Deep within the vast Gobi Desert in Turpan, Xinjiang, a sprawling "blue photovoltaic sea" with a total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts is rapidly taking shape.

The project has integrated intelligent industrial robots into the photovoltaic module installation process, reducing the physical burden on workers and significantly boosting construction efficiency.

According to reports, compared to traditional manual installation, this intelligent robotic system can markedly improve the pass rate of installed solar panels.

Leveraging millimeter-level positioning accuracy and intelligent posture control, each photovoltaic panel can be precisely positioned at its optimal tilt angle.

The project employs a comprehensive intelligent construction solution designed for desert and Gobi environments.

The robots are equipped with tracked mobile chassis and multi-functional robotic arms, enabling them to navigate flexibly across soft sand and undulating gravel terrain.

They can perform multiple tasks in a single workflow, including material handling, component transport, and precise installation.

Beyond the installation robots, the project has also deployed mechanized and automated equipment on a large scale for other phases, such as pile foundation construction and cable laying.

This integration forms a new construction system characterized by human-machine collaboration and intelligent management and control.
