Hong Kong-listed Wai Chi Holdings Company Limited disclosed that it repurchased 70,000 ordinary shares on 17 July 2026 at HKD 0.90 each, for a total consideration of HKD 0.06 million. The transaction represents 0.0323% of the company’s outstanding share capital (excluding treasury shares) as of the previous trading day.
Following the buy-back, Wai Chi’s issued share base (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 216.69 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 3.03 million. The total issued share count remained unchanged at 219.73 million.
The purchase forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 27 May 2026, which permits the company to acquire up to 21.97 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 3.03 million shares, equivalent to 13.7991% of the company’s issued shares as at the mandate date, leaving capacity for a further 18.94 million shares.
In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Wai Chi is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 17 August 2026.
