VinFast Auto's stock fell 6.54% in pre-market trading on Monday following the release of its first-quarter financial results.
The electric vehicle maker reported a basic and diluted net loss per ordinary share of $0.48 for the quarter, indicating continued profitability challenges despite generating revenue of $862.5 million and delivering 58,577 EVs during the period.
While the company reiterated its global delivery target of at least 300,000 EVs for the full year 2026, investors appeared to focus on the persistent losses, leading to the significant pre-market decline.
