At a press conference titled "Strivers on the New Journey" held by the State Council Information Office on May 28, 2026, representatives from private enterprises and new social strata met with Chinese and foreign journalists to exchange views on the theme of "Advancing the '16th Five-Year Plan', Private Enterprises Taking the Lead."

Wang Ning, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Pop Mart International Group Limited, stated that the "16th Five-Year Plan" clearly proposes accelerating the development of the cultural industry, nurturing outstanding cultural enterprises and brands, and encouraging more cultural enterprises and high-quality cultural products to go global. "We feel greatly inspired," he said.

Wang Ning noted that as a Chinese cultural enterprise, Pop Mart is honored to have received support from various sectors and will continue striving to strengthen its position in its niche field.

"Currently, the AI industry is a major hotspot. We often say that science and technology enable our survival, but culture and art give meaning to our lives. We hope that through our efforts, culture and art can be integrated into daily life, creating more beautiful products and services that bring joy to people. We aim to genuinely become a world-class enterprise and build a world-class brand," Wang Ning added.

He also expressed the aspiration to establish a world-class platform for artists through Pop Mart's efforts. This platform would promote greater integration among artists and cultures from different countries, drive the development of the cultural industry, and create a cultural memory of the era for people worldwide. "This will be the direction of our future endeavors," he concluded.
