Citigroup is scheduled to release its third-quarter earnings report before the market opens on Tuesday, October 13, at the New York Stock Exchange, with market attention focused on its financial performance and the latest developments in its digital asset strategy.

According to data compiled by Woofun AI, analysts expect earnings per share of $2.64, surpassing $2.26 in the same period last year, while quarterly revenue is projected at $23.75 billion, up from $22.09 billion a year earlier.

Despite the positive fundamental outlook, the stock fell 2.2% on Monday to close at $131.31, weighed down by multiple factors.

On the regulatory front, although the Clarity Act has not been passed by the U.S. Senate, Citigroup (NYSE: C) is not slowing down. The company is deepening its collaboration with Coinbase Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: COIN) to launch stablecoin payment services for large institutional clients, continuing to expand its presence in the digital asset space.
