New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. (NCI) has issued an announcement regarding the nomination of a non-executive director candidate.

In accordance with the provisions of the company's articles of association, shareholders holding 3% or more of the voting shares, either individually or collectively, are entitled to nominate candidates for non-independent directors.

As of the date of this announcement, Central Huijin Investment Ltd. holds 31.34% of the company's shares and has nominated Mr. Huang Geng as a candidate for non-executive director on the company's ninth board of directors.

The proposal to nominate Mr. Huang Geng was reviewed and approved at the eighth meeting of the ninth board of directors, held on June 10, 2026.

This proposal is now subject to review and approval by the company's general meeting of shareholders.

Following approval by the shareholders' meeting, Mr. Huang Geng's director appointment will still require final approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.
