At the 2026 Kuaishou Lifestyle Services Conference held in Chengdu, Liu Xiao, the head of Kuaishou's Lifestyle Services division, shared that as of the first quarter of 2026, the platform's lifestyle services business now spans 208 distinct sectors, engaging 660,000 merchants and offering 3.95 million products.
Concurrently, the number of monthly active merchants acquired through marketing investments has increased by 57%, with commercial expenditure growing by 29%. Notably, the volume of qualified leads generated through business messaging has surged by 237%.
Liu Xiao emphasized that integrating business operations with marketing investments has become an industry consensus. Moving forward, Kuaishou plans to empower lifestyle service merchants with AI technology, achieving significant efficiency gains in areas such as deep conversion, audience exploration, and product granularity. The company will leverage its product ecosystem, including initiatives like Cili Chuangxi, Nüwa Digital Humans, π Digital Employees, and Cili Qingsong, to continuously reduce operational costs for merchants.
