Keppel Ltd. said on Jun, 27 2026 that the claimant in an ongoing land ownership lawsuit involving its wholly owned subsidiary, PT. Kepland Investama, has filed a cassation appeal to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia via the South Jakarta District Court.
The new filing follows the High Court of DKI Jakarta’s decision on May, 13 2026, which upheld an earlier South Jakarta District Court ruling that declared the claimant Tumpal Hutabarat’s lawsuit inadmissible.
Keppel Ltd. noted that its Indonesian counsel continues to regard PT. Kepland’s land certificates as the strongest proof of ownership under Indonesian Agrarian Law and does not expect the cassation process to have a material impact on the company’s operations or overall financial performance. The company said it will update shareholders on any further material developments.
