As China's automotive market enters the "Golden September" peak season, Huawei's automotive division is experiencing a product launch surge. "Jiangjie S9T achieved over 13,000 firm orders within one week of launch, Wenjie M8 has delivered over 94,000 units cumulatively, and Wenjie M9 has surpassed 240,000 cumulative deliveries," announced Yu Chengdong, Huawei's Executive Director and Chairman of Consumer Business Group, at the HarmonyOS Smart Mobility autumn product launch event. He revealed market performance and official pricing for two bestselling new vehicles: the all-new Wenjie M7, starting at 279,800 yuan, accumulated over 230,000 pre-orders during its 19-day pre-sale period; while Shangjie H5, starting at 159,800 yuan, garnered over 160,000 pre-orders within 29 days.

This marks the completion of HarmonyOS Smart Mobility's "Five Realms" portfolio, with all products now available in the retail market. Since the launch of the new Wenjie M7 two years ago, its market performance has remained phenomenal. According to Cyrus Motors President He Liyang, through production line and supply chain coordination, the all-new Wenjie M7's monthly peak production capacity has exceeded 30,000 units.

As the first model from the "Fifth Realm" collaboration between Huawei and SAIC Motor, Shangjie H5 carries the mission of HarmonyOS Smart Mobility's "dual intelligence" market penetration, targeting the competitive 150,000-200,000 yuan new energy vehicle segment. "Among the 160,000 pre-orders, the Max variant accounts for 75%," stated SAIC Group President Jia Jianxu.

Latest data shows the all-new Wenjie M7 achieved over 30,000 firm orders within one hour of launch.

Beyond the HarmonyOS Smart Mobility "Five Realms," Huawei's automotive partnership ecosystem continues expanding in both breadth and depth, while "dual intelligence" system upgrades are accelerating. On September 22, Dongfeng Motor Chairman and Party Secretary Yang Qing visited Shenzhen to meet with Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei and Huawei's Xu Zhijun. The parties engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening strategic trust, deepening strategic cooperation, and advancing corporate governance and operational mechanism innovation.

Sources indicate that product definition, intelligent technology, and marketing will become key cooperation areas between Dongfeng Motor and Huawei. Additionally, accompanying Yang Qing to Huawei headquarters was newly appointed Mengshi Automotive Technology General Manager (CEO) Wan Liangyu. Industry observers widely believe subsequent cooperation may result in deeper strategic partnerships implemented through Mengshi Technology.

The "Qijing" brand, jointly created by Huawei Qiankun and GAC, was officially announced one week ago, positioned as a premium intelligent new energy vehicle brand. According to plans, Qijing's first model will debut in 2026. GAC Group Chairman and General Manager Feng Xingya emphasized the project's significance to GAC Group, stating: "GAC will prioritize the Qijing project at the highest level, concentrating superior resources to ensure the brand's long-term development."

Regarding "dual intelligence" systems, Zhijie Automotive conducted full-scale OTA deployment on September 23, bringing over 20 new optimizations including Huawei ADS 4 upgrades, featuring enhanced WEWA architecture, parking space-to-space 2.0, and NCA activation during intersections and lane changes. "930,000 HarmonyOS Smart Mobility users are receiving the most significant OTA upgrade, with full deployment starting immediately, incorporating Huawei ADS 4 and other features," Yu Chengdong announced.
