On December 26, Taiping Property & Casualty Insurance held a cadre meeting, announcing the appointment of Peng Yunping as the company's Party Committee Secretary and interim responsible person. Peng is slated to assume the role of General Manager pending regulatory approval.

Peng Yunping was appointed as Vice President of Taiping P&C in August 2022. With experience across management positions at the group headquarters, the P&C headquarters, and branch companies, she has previously served as Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission at Taiping P&C, General Manager of the Board of Supervisors Office at China Taiping Insurance Group, Vice President (presiding over work), Vice President, and Deputy General Manager of the Comprehensive Development Department. It is reported that Peng has over 20 years of experience in the property insurance industry, possessing extensive management expertise across various domains including business sales, institutional management, organizational personnel, corporate governance, and party construction and discipline inspection.

Zhu Jie, Vice President of China Taiping Insurance Group, will no longer concurrently hold the positions of Party Committee Secretary and General Manager of Taiping P&C. Since assuming the top leadership role at Taiping P&C in the second half of 2022, Zhu Jie adhered to a principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability and winning through professionalism. Under his leadership, Taiping P&C successfully underwent transformation and upgrading, with operating efficiency significantly improving and a positive trend of high-quality development established. From January to November 2025, Taiping P&C achieved original insurance premium income of 30.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. Premium income in strategic emerging areas such as technology insurance, green insurance, and inclusive insurance all achieved rapid double-digit growth.
