The company has officially launched its public offering in Hong Kong, with pricing expected to be finalized and trading on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to commence shortly thereafter.

Key Details of the Offering

The prospectus reveals an impressive lineup of cornerstone investors, with foreign institutions comprising a significant portion.

A total of 29 cornerstone investors have subscribed for approximately $3.45 billion, nearing the regulatory limit of 50% for such allocations under the listing rules.

The global offering consists of 54.5 million H shares, with a maximum offer price set. Based on this price, the total funds raised could reach around HK$55 billion, potentially making it one of the largest IPOs on the Hong Kong market this year.

The offering structure includes a Hong Kong public offering portion and an international placement. Over-allotment options are also in place.

As a key supplier for AI data centers, the company is experiencing a period of significant earnings growth.

Financial reports show substantial year-on-year increases in revenue, net profit, and gross margin, with growth accelerating further in the most recent quarter.

Analysts note the company is well-positioned to maintain its leadership in the optical module market during the AI era, with forecasts predicting strong shipment growth and revenue expansion driven by capacity increases and a shift towards higher-speed products.

Market research confirms the company's leading global position in optical interconnect solutions for several consecutive years, with a strong market share in high-speed modules. It has consistently been at the forefront of launching next-generation products ahead of peers and is also a leader in silicon photonics technology.

Geographically, a majority of its revenue is derived from the U.S. market.

Use of Proceeds

The company plans to allocate the net proceeds from the offering towards several key areas: research and development for next-generation optical interconnect products; global capacity expansion with a target to significantly increase annual production, focusing on high-speed products; strategic investments and acquisitions along the optical communication value chain; enhancing supply chain resilience; and general working capital purposes.
