HUADIAN POWER (01071) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Huadian Longkou Power Generation Co., Ltd., has successfully completed the 168-hour full-load trial operation of the second unit in the Huadian Longkou Phase IV 2×660MW cogeneration project (referred to as the "Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project"). The unit has now officially commenced commercial operation.

With this milestone, both 660MW ultra-supercritical units of the Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project have been fully completed and put into service, injecting new momentum into regional energy security and green, low-carbon development.

The project successfully achieved "ten first-time successes" in critical milestones, including boiler hydrostatic testing, plant power reception, boiler ignition, turbine rolling, and grid-connected power generation.

Adhering to green and low-carbon development principles, the newly operational units integrate multiple advanced technologies, adopting ultra-supercritical high-efficiency cogeneration technology. Their comprehensive energy consumption ranks among the best in China's 600MW-class cogeneration units, significantly enhancing the stability of Shandong's power grid while improving local heating supply for residents and industrial steam reliability.

The full operation of the Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project reflects the company's commitment to implementing the national energy security strategy and supporting Shandong's socio-economic development. It also marks a key achievement in deepening reform, innovation, and advancing green development.
