BHCC Holding Limited (BHCC) reported that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, BHCC Development (Project 2) Pte. Ltd., and Singapore-based ECO Energy Pte. Ltd. jointly lodged a tender on 12 June 2026 for a 30-year lease on a 22,079.20 sq m land parcel at Kranji Close, Singapore, earmarked for a Civic & Community Institution (Foreign Workers’ Dormitory).
The consortium remitted a tender deposit of S$3.50 million (HK$21.00 million), representing no less than 5% of the bid price. BHCC’s share of the deposit, funded from internal resources, will serve as security for contract performance if the bid succeeds; otherwise, it will be refunded within 14 days of the tender award.
If awarded, a joint-venture company—of which BHCC Project 2 will hold up to 20%—will develop and operate a dormitory accommodating up to 7,000 workers with a maximum gross plot ratio of 3.0. The project would broaden BHCC’s growing property-development portfolio, which already includes industrial, residential and commercial initiatives in Singapore.
Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, the deposit size exceeds the 5% but is below the 25% threshold of the relevant percentage ratios, classifying the payment as a discloseable transaction subject to reporting and announcement requirements.
