Monster Beverage's stock surged 7.41% in post-market trading, driven by the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results that significantly exceeded Wall Street expectations.

The energy drink maker reported net sales of $2.35 billion, beating analyst estimates of $2.16 billion, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.58 compared to the consensus forecast of $0.53. A key driver was the company's international performance, with sales outside the United States jumping nearly 45% to over $1 billion, now representing approximately 45% of total revenue. The company noted that favorable foreign exchange rates, due to a weaker U.S. dollar, provided an additional boost.

CEO Hilton H. Schlosberg stated that "the global energy drink category continues to demonstrate solid growth, driven by increased consumer demand." The strong quarterly performance, highlighted by the growth of its affordable brands like Predator and Fury in emerging markets, prompted the significant positive market reaction.
