PICC P&C Updates Interim Dividend Plan: RMB 0.34 per Share, Payment Set for 6 November 2026

PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited (PICC P&C) has released an updated announcement on its interim dividend for the six months ended 30 June 2026, clarifying key timetable changes and withholding-tax arrangements.

The Hong Kong-listed insurer confirmed an interim cash dividend of RMB 0.34 per share for the 2026 financial year. Shareholders will vote on the proposal at the 24 September 2026 general meeting.

Key timetable • Ex-dividend date: 7 October 2026 • Latest time to lodge share transfers: 8 October 2026, 16:30 • Book-closure period: 9–14 October 2026 • Record date: 14 October 2026 • Payment date: 6 November 2026

Currency conversion details, including the Hong Kong dollar exchange rate, will be announced closer to the payment date.

Withholding-tax framework • Non-resident enterprise shareholders: 10 % withholding. • Non-resident individual shareholders: 10 % baseline; effective treaty rates between 10 % and 20 % will apply where relevant, while a 20 % rate applies if no treaty exists. • PRC resident individuals investing via Stock Connect: 20 % withholding. • Domestic enterprise investors via Stock Connect: self-assessment; dividends on H-shares held continuously for at least 12 months are tax-exempt.

No changes were announced regarding listed warrants or convertible securities. As of the announcement date, the board comprises Vice Chairperson Zhang Daoming, executive directors Lyu Chen and Hu Wei, employee director Li Ling, and independent directors Cheng Fengchao, Wei Chenyang, Li Weibin, Qu Xiaobo and Xue Shuang.
