Sanergy Group Limited (2459) has announced the completion of placing 228.00 million new shares at HK$0.083 per share on 20 February 2026. The placement raised gross proceeds of HK$18.90 million, and net proceeds reached HK$18.40 million after deducting relevant fees, with a net price of HK$0.081 per share.

According to the announcement, 50% of the net proceeds will be directed toward graphite electrodes business development, including raw material procurement, subcontracting, and conversion costs. The remaining 50% will be allocated for liquidity replenishment and general corporate purposes.

Following the issuance, the total number of shares in issue increased from approximately 1.71 billion to 1.94 billion. The newly placed shares represent around 11.76% of the enlarged share capital. The company notes that none of the placees became a substantial shareholder as a result of this placing.
