LIVZON PHARMA (01513) has announced that its subsidiary, Sichuan Guangda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has received a Drug Registration Certificate from the National Medical Products Administration for Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction Granules.

The prescription for this drug originates from the classical medical text "Yi Xue Xin Wu" by Cheng Guopeng of the Qing Dynasty and is included in the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine's "Catalogue of Ancient Classical Famous Prescriptions (First Batch)".

According to classical records, this formula is a classic prescription for treating dizziness due to wind-phlegm. Its functional indications are to resolve phlegm, extinguish wind, strengthen the spleen, and dispel dampness. It is used for patterns of wind-phlegm disturbing the upper body, with symptoms including vertigo, headache, chest and epigastric stuffiness, nausea, vomiting, a white greasy tongue coating, and a wiry, slippery pulse.

The core therapeutic approach of the formula is to resolve phlegm and extinguish wind while strengthening the spleen and dispelling dampness. This formula is supported by a substantial body of historical medical case evidence, and numerous modern clinical and pharmacological studies have been conducted. The related research findings are cited in medical textbooks, indicating high industry recognition.

As a commonly used formula in clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine practice, it is widely applied in the treatment of conditions such as vertigo, headache, nausea, and vomiting.

As of the date of this announcement, the cumulative direct research and development expenses for the Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction Granules amount to approximately RMB 5,010,200.
