In a recent investor interaction, China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited (CHINA LONGYUAN) disclosed its projected average on-grid tariff for wind power in 2025.
The company anticipates the average price will be RMB 475 per megawatt-hour, inclusive of value-added tax.
This figure represents a decrease of RMB 52 per MWh compared to the 2024 level.
The primary drivers for this expected price reduction are the expansion of market-based trading for wind power, an increase in projects operating at grid parity, and various structural factors within the market.
Separately, the company also provided its forecast for solar power generation.
The average on-grid tariff for solar power in 2025 is projected to be RMB 318 per MWh, also inclusive of VAT.
This marks a reduction of RMB 17 per MWh from the 2024 price.
This decline is similarly attributed to the growing scale of market transactions for solar power, where prevailing traded prices are exerting downward pressure on the overall average on-grid tariff.
