Applied Optoelectronics jumped 8.0% after extending a recent fiber-optic rebound, while Coherent surged 7.0% on continued momentum in laser demand. Lumentum climbed 6.3% as traders cited favorable outlook comments, Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares rallied 4.4% alongside strength in Tesla Motors, which gained 2.3% on upbeat delivery expectations. Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares rose 3.1% as chip stocks marched higher, whereas Apple fell 2.3% amid profit-taking following a multi-week run-up.
Elsewhere, MOGU Inc. leapt 5.6%, Li Auto advanced 5.4% on robust EV sales chatter, Kingsoft Cloud added 4.6%, XPeng Inc. rose 4.3% and Yum China Holdings gained 3.9% as consumer reopening plays drew buying interest.
