Luca Rossi, Executive Vice President and President of the Intelligent Devices Group, highlighted the transformative nature of this partnership, stating that AI is fundamentally reshaping the relationship between people and technology. Rossi emphasized that the company is demonstrating how hybrid AI can make this shift tangible by integrating AI across devices, edge infrastructure, and cloud platforms, delivering intelligence at the right time and in the right place.
With the combined portfolio of Lenovo Group (0992.HK) and Motorola, Rossi noted that the company is laying the groundwork for a personal AI that follows users wherever they go, while simultaneously enabling businesses to deploy AI solutions where their data resides. This vision comes to life through the newly launched Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, which features deep integration with NVIDIA (NVDA)'s on-device AI architecture. The device is powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark chip, which merges a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU boasting 6,144 CUDA cores through NVLink-C2C interconnect, delivering 1 PFLOPS of AI performance and supporting up to 128GB of unified memory.
This powerful configuration enables trillion-parameter language models to run locally on a laptop, with NVIDIA citing a reference model of 120 billion parameters with a 1 million token context window. The Yoga Pro 9n features a 15.3-inch 2.5K 165Hz PureSight Pro OLED display, while the Lenovo X Power thermal architecture allows an 80W TDP to fit within an ultra-thin 16.7mm chassis. The same platform extends to the Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1, a convertible creator laptop that rotates 360 degrees and supports dual-surface handwriting input across both screen and touchpad, offering up to 64GB of unified memory.
The same technological approach carries over into commercial products. The ThinkCentre X Ultra desktop, equipped with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 series processors and up to 128GB of unified memory, compresses agentic AI-era computing power into a 1.6-liter chassis. This compact workstation supports clustering of up to four devices, enabling users to run larger models, longer contexts, and multi-agent workflows that demand substantial computational resources.
In terms of form factor innovation, the Project Swan concept brings a rollable display to commercial laptops. When closed, it functions as a portable 14-inch notebook; when opened, the screen expands into a continuous 17-inch 16:9 canvas, all within an 18.9mm-thick body weighing just 1.6 kilograms. Additionally, the Project Aeroblade concept measures under 10mm in thickness and weighs less than 1,000 grams, featuring the Lenovo Active Flow cooling solution developed in collaboration with Frore Systems.
The Lenovo Qira platform, introduced earlier this year, has announced four major expansions: lowering the entry threshold to support Lenovo PCs with 16GB of memory; extending compatibility to Motorola smartphones and tablets through the Android 17 update; debuting on the moto watch ultra as the first wearable device to support Lenovo Qira; and integrating with daily applications through a partnership with Workato. To date, Lenovo Qira has achieved compatibility with over 80 supported PC configurations globally.
