Longcheer Technology (09611) saw its shares rise nearly 4% in late trading. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 3.74%, trading at HK$52.65 with a turnover of HK$67.78 million.

The movement follows an announcement from Longcheer Technology stating that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Haikou Longcheer Technology Investment Co., Ltd., signed a partnership agreement on May 15, 2026, for the Shanghai Huake Zhixin Venture Capital Partnership. Haikou Longcheer intends to commit RMB 20 million as a limited partner, representing 2.91% of the total committed capital.

The partnership will focus on investments in companies within China—including those based overseas but with primary operations in China or planning to relocate there post-investment—that are engaged in the semiconductor industry and its upstream and downstream sectors. These sectors include industrial, automotive, new energy, high-tech, electronics, and related software and service businesses.

The company stated that entering into this partnership agreement is expected to leverage the resources and investment expertise of professional institutions, help identify high-quality investment targets, mitigate investment risks, enhance the company's competitive strength, and align with its strategic development objectives and the interests of all shareholders.
