Macau Legend Development Ltd (01680) has issued a profit warning, indicating that the group expects to record a loss of approximately HK$137 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026.

This compares to a loss of roughly HK$1.421 billion for the same period in the prior year, which ended June 30, 2025.

The substantial reduction in the loss is mainly attributable to the absence of any impairment losses on non-financial assets being recognised during the reporting period, whereas the corresponding period last year saw a significant impairment charge of around HK$1.272 billion recognised against continuing operations.
