Former HSBC Executive Lina Lim Joins BlackRock as CxB Asia-Pacific Business Head

According to a report from Zhitong Finance APP, BlackRock has announced the appointment of Lina Lim as Head of Commercialization for Citi Portfolio Solutions Powered by BlackRock (CxB) in the Asia-Pacific region.

Lina Lim will lead the expansion of the CxB platform across Asia-Pacific, driving collaboration across business divisions throughout the firm to bring BlackRock's customized investment capabilities to wealth management clients in the region, while further enriching the product and service offerings available to Citi clients. Lina Lim will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Andrew Landman and Rob Jasminski.

According to public information, the CxB platform was launched at the end of 2025 and currently manages approximately US$80 billion in assets for Citi Global Private Bank clients. The platform combines Citi's investment advisory and planning capabilities with BlackRock's investment management and technology strengths in all-asset portfolio solutions.

Lina Lim brings 30 years of extensive experience in asset management and wealth management, with an outstanding track record in building and scaling discretionary and managed solutions platforms for clients. Prior to joining BlackRock, she served as Head of Discretionary, Funds and ETF Business for HSBC in Asia-Pacific and Hong Kong, where she led the managed investment solutions business spanning the entire client spectrum from retail and affluent investors to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Lina Lim has also held positions at JPMorgan and Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management, among others.
