Tanwan executes HKD 0.62 million share buyback, treasury shares reach 12.01 million

Tanwan Inc. repurchased 40,000 ordinary shares on 30 April 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The buyback was executed at prices ranging between HKD 15.28 and HKD 15.69, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 15.41 per share and a total consideration of HKD 0.62 million.

Following the transaction, issued shares excluding treasury stock decreased to 522.43 million, while treasury shares increased to 12.01 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 534.44 million. The latest repurchase represents 0.01% of Tanwan’s outstanding shares prior to the event.

The buyback was carried out under the general mandate approved on 19 June 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 53.31 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 10.63 million shares, equivalent to 1.99% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong listing regulations, Tanwan is subject to a moratorium on new share issuance or any sale or transfer of treasury shares until 30 May 2026.
