XH News Media Secures Withdrawal of Winding-Up Petition After HK$0.59 Million Settlement

Hong Kong, 28 August 2026 — XH News Media Holdings Limited announced that the High Court of Hong Kong has formally approved the withdrawal of a winding-up petition previously filed against the company.

On 28 August 2026, the company received a sealed copy of the court order dated 20 August 2026 granting the petitioner, Ngans Lawyers LLP, leave to withdraw the petition lodged on 16 June 2026. The withdrawal follows a negotiated settlement under which XH News Media undertook to pay the full petitioning debt of HK$0.59 million in two instalments. The company confirmed that the payment has been completed in full.

Consequently, the hearing originally scheduled for 9 September 2026 has been vacated. XH News Media stated that further updates will be provided to shareholders and potential investors when appropriate and advised caution in dealing in its securities.

The board currently comprises four executive directors, two non-executive directors, and four independent non-executive directors.
