US optical communications stocks are extending their pre-market gains on June 8th.

Marvell Technology (MRVL) is leading the advance, up more than 9%.

POET Technologies Inc (POET) has risen over 5%, while Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) and Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (CRDO) are both trading more than 4% higher.

Corning (GLW) shares are also up nearly 3% in pre-market trading.
