DiDi Global Inc. has released a travel forecast for the Spring Festival period. The data indicates that demand for DiDi's ride-hailing services is expected to rise significantly starting February 8th, reaching its first peak on February 13th. The second wave of high demand is predicted for February 22nd. A third peak is anticipated on February 24th, driven by a combination of returning travelers and commuters. The fourth period of high demand will occur from March 3rd to March 4th, coinciding with the Lantern Festival. DiDi forecasts that cross-city travel demand for returning home and tourism before the holiday will increase by 45% compared to pre-Spring Festival travel levels. Demand for rides to major transport hubs like airports and train stations is expected to grow by 40%, while trips to beauty salons and shopping malls are projected to rise by 67% and 49%, respectively.
